He has 30 years of experience with financial services and investment management during his tenure as Chairman of groups like the Amanah Capital, Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, Proton Holdings and Group MD of Amanah Capital.
Teck Wah is the Managing Partner and co-founder of TAP, bringing to the table over 30 years of experience in consultancy, turnaround management, mergers and acquisition, and transaction advisory. He is an Arthur Andersen thoroughbred and shares the vision of his fellow Partners in building a Southeast Asian private equity operation.
His previous position in Ernst & Young as well as Arthur Andersen has given him a strong reputation as a market leader in corporate transaction advisory.
Datuk Jared Lim is the Managing Partner and co-founder of TAP with a background in investment banking. He was the visionary behind setting up an Asian-owned private equity firm.
With 18 years of financial experience under his belt, Datuk Jared is also an entrepreneur and has ventured in various industries such as F&B, education and wellness. He also heads various family owned businesses in the lifestyle and property line.
Darrin Lin is the Chief Creative Director of TAP, heading the in-house team in branding, marketing, digital, media and licensing and merchandising strategies. He has 15 years of experience working in notable agencies like BBDO and Crispin Porter Bogusky having graduated from New York with a Bachelors of Fine Arts.
His work with brands like Adidas, Banana Republic and ESPN has won him various awards.
Kwok Shong is the Director of Investment Management Team in the TAP Group who oversees the organisation for the Singapore branch.
He brings with him years of experience having worked in the financial sector in Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. He has vast knowledge in reviewing and evaluating financial growth in businesses across the region.
Toh Chong is the Director of Investment Management in the TAP Group. He monitors the investment managements and the processes of the fund.
He has over 15 years’ experience in private equity and corporate finance. He is a qualified accountant and has gained an extensive corporate finance and transaction experience while working at Ernst & Young and other notable, having completed numerous mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and debt financing.
Chavivat is the Director of TAP Thailand, in charge of expansion plans for portfolio companies.
His previous work experience includes corporate banking, client servicing, financial growth, client servicing and financial consulting. He has also had previous business experience through family owned businesses in the property and lifestyle sector.
Att is the Managing Director in charge of TAP Thailand’s operations. His role is to yield the most financial success for investors.
Att started his career as a prime financial analyst and has since moved towards private equity investment management. He has served in various strategic positions managing operation matters including strategic planning, budgeting, managing deal flow and investment executions.
Julian is the Managing Director in charge of TAP Indonesia’s operations. He has vast experience in the financial industry and has built a network of business relationships in Indonesia.
He started his career as an analyst with Merrill Lynch in Seattle overseeing wealth management and SMEs. Julian was also instrumental in a significant number of capital market transactions such as IPOs, bond offerings and M&As. He is currently an active member of the Indonesian Underwriter Association and serves as Deputy Head of Permanent Committee for Financial Access in the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Trade.
Irawan is the Chairman for TAP Indonesia instrumental in building investor relationships and networking.
He brings with him 25 years of experience in Indonesian capital marketing and banking across a variety of industries. He was a former Head of Transaction Advisory Services and Audit for Ernst & Young as well as Arthur Andersen. He currently sits as a board member of various listed companies in Indonesia while serving as an independent commissioner and an independent auditor.
