TAP also manages (i) Tremendous Opportunity Fund – a private equity fund that has approximately US$100m in investments focused on the consumer space in SE Asia; and (ii) Advance Opportunity Fund – a Strategic Debt fund focused on listed entities in SE Asia.

TAP’s management team combines investment and operational experiences with proven success in identifying and managing growth-oriented investment opportunities and engineering cross-border transactions in the region. The key founder is Datuk Jared Lim and its key executives have varied backgrounds in investments, operations, creativity and technology.

The investment strategy of TAP is geographically focused in Southeast Asia predominantly, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia while the sector focus is primarily in the Telco, Media and Technology sectors. This strategy has been formulated based on the demographic trends in Southeast Asia namely increased consumer spending and urban migration in one of the most populous and youngest populations in the world.

TAP has a hands-on value creation proposition comprising not just expertise in Financial Structuring and Operational Enhancements but also has an in-house multi award-winning Consumer Team and a Technology committee to be able to understand the latest trends and technology.
